PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

At Alpha Vera International (“Alpha Vera”) we attach importance to the privacy and security of your personal data.

This notice has been prepared to inform you about the purposes and methods of processing your personal data, to whom and for what purposes it may be transferred, how it is retained, and your rights under the KVKK.

2. Personal Data That May Be Processed

Depending on the nature of the health tourism intermediary and coordination services provided, Alpha Vera may process the following personal data:

Name, surname, date of birth, nationality and, where necessary, ID or passport details
Telephone number, e-mail address, country of residence and preferred language of communication
Correspondence via telephone, WhatsApp, e-mail, the website contact form and other channels
Descriptions relating to the healthcare service requested
Medical history, current conditions, medication used and allergy information
Photographs, video, X-ray, tomography, tests, reports and other medical documents
Assessment, treatment plan and pricing information prepared by the authorised healthcare institution
Flight, accommodation, transfer, companion and, where necessary, baggage details
IP address, device, browser, language and cookie data
Explicit consent, communication and marketing preferences

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data may be processed in order to: receive your enquiry and determine the service you request; contact suitable authorised healthcare institutions; obtain an assessment, treatment plan and price quotation from the relevant institution; carry out appointment and process coordination; organise interpreting and communication support where needed; coordinate travel and transfer processes; answer your questions; communicate with you; fulfil legal and contractual obligations; ensure information security; prevent unauthorised activity; and evaluate requests or complaints.

4. Processing of Health Data

Health information, medical documents, X-rays, tests, photographs and similar health data constitute special category personal data.

Such data is processed only to the extent necessary for assessing your request and carrying out health tourism intermediary services, and only where your explicit consent or another lawful ground provided by applicable legislation exists.

Alpha Vera International does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment services directly. Health data is shared with the relevant authorised healthcare institutions only where necessary and solely for the purpose of assessing your application.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Limited to the processing purpose and to the extent necessary, your personal data may be transferred to authorised healthcare institutions; to the physicians and dentists who will assess your application; to contracted interpreters; to transfer service providers; to information technology, hosting, e-mail, communication, data security and similar technical service providers; and to public authorities, administrative bodies or judicial authorities empowered by law.

Your health data is not shared in full with transfer service providers. Only the name, contact, flight, accommodation, pick-up and drop-off points and any necessary special mobility information required to carry out the transfer may be transferred.

6. International Transfers

Because WhatsApp, Meta, Google, foreign server infrastructure, e-mail services or similar services based outside Türkiye are used, some of your personal data may be processed abroad or transferred abroad.

Such transfers are carried out within the framework of the conditions and appropriate safeguards provided for in the applicable data protection legislation.

7. Methods of Collection

Your personal data may be collected electronically or physically through website contact and application forms, telephone, WhatsApp, e-mail, social media, video calls, face-to-face meetings, and the documents, images and other materials you submit.

8. Retention

Your personal data is retained for the period necessary for the relevant processing purpose, taking into account the retention and limitation periods set out in applicable legislation.

Where the processing purpose ceases to exist or the relevant retention period expires, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the legislation.

9. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698 you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose; learn the third parties to whom your data is transferred; request the correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed data; request erasure or destruction where the conditions are met; request that correction or erasure be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to a result to your detriment arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems; and claim compensation where you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
